What should you bring for a full day at Myra Canyon Adventure Park? Pack for outdoor climbing in the Okanagan sun. The list below covers clothing, sun protection, and what you will find on site.
Attire:
Sneakers or closed-toed shoes are required. No sandals or flip-flops on the courses. Wear pants at least knee-length so harnesses sit comfortably. Bring layers (long or short sleeves both work), a sun hat, sunglasses, and gloves if you prefer them. Tie back long hair before you climb. We keep a limited supply of gloves to borrow at the front desk.
To combat the elements:
Sunscreen and bug spray. Reapply sunscreen during longer climbs. Summer days in Myra Canyon can be hot and sunny, so plan for both sun and insects in the forest.
What we have handy:
Water jugs are placed at several spots around the park. Cold bottled water is $1 at the front desk. We also sell ice cream sandwiches and freezies. Picnic areas and BBQs are available when requested and not already booked for a private event.
Arrive about 15 minutes early to check in and sign your waiver. You can download and read the waiver on our Waiver Form page before your visit. When you are ready to book, head to our Home page.
